IK22 VS IK24 Spark Plug Breakdown

The difference between the IK22 and IK24 spark plugs mainly comes down to heat range. The IK22 is a bit "hotter," meaning it retains a bit more heat. This is fine for a mostly stock or mild boost setup, like when you're running a 2.2" pulley. It ensures the plugs stay at the right temperature to burn off deposits without overheating.

On the other hand, the IK24 is a "colder" plug, dissipating heat faster. This is ideal when you're upping the boost, like with a 2.1" pulley. More boost means more combustion heat, so a colder plug helps prevent pre-ignition or detonation. In short, IK22 is for moderate setups, and IK24 handles higher boost and temps better.
